Kingsrow will work with either version of the databases, but the older version files take up a lot of space on your hard drive, and there is italliana reason to keep them if you have the new databases. Why "Aurora Borealis Draughts professional" is the best choice?

Even if Kingsrow can find a way to win, these databases allow Kingsrow to play the minimum path to wins directly, or indirectly via conversions.

The match games can be downloaded here. To use the 9 and piece databases, you also need to install the databases of 2 through 8 pieces. If you have installed the latest CheckerBoard package above with Cake Manchester, and if you have generated the 6-piece database on your computeryou can download and extract this zipfile into the 'db' directory in your CheckerBoard folder.

You will be able to generate the 6-piece endgame database on your computer. Kingsrow now has a parallel search engine, which can give up to a 3x speedup with multi-core CPUs.

The new version of CheckerBoard fixes several bugs and allows access to the 8 search threads and larger hashtable settings. After you install the new databases, you should tell kingsrow where you put them.
